Getting Here
In-line with Snowdonia National Park's Development Plan, Pitch and Hike is a walk-to campsite aimed at keeping hikers with backpacks off the increasingly busy roads, and trail cyclists away from traffic.

The campsite can be accessed via public transport and footpaths from Betws y Coed and most of the local towns and villages, without the need for long stretches along busy roads. A short footpath/bridleway links the campsite directly to the Snowdonia Slate Trail, the Snowdonia Way and the Marin Trail. A good bus service serving the local areas stops at the bottom of the short track to the campsite. The Tyn y Coed pub offers paid overnight parking and the Bryn Glo carpark is a 15 minute walk via road and footpaths. Snowdonia also offers Park and Ride facilities

Please note that the Moel Siabod Cafe is now closed so Pitch and Hike campers cannot park in that carpark.
